We are hiring a full-time DENTIST/ DENTAL HOME DIRECTOR who loves working with children to provide caring leadership, to oversee all aspects of the dental office (administrative 1.
5 days per week) and to provide clinical care 3.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Full-time/ 40 hours per week Holds current Licenses (NJ Dental license, DEA, Controlled Substances) Maintains current Malpractice liability insurance Provides quality comprehensive quadrant dentistry Wants to help build oral health equity in the community Team:
Provide supervision, leadership, and guidance Conduct or assign morning huddles for team building and spirit Conduct monthly staff meetings Celebrate staff birthdays or special occasions for staff appreciation Ensure all team members are conducting themselves in a manner consistent with KinderSmile's mission and vision Resolve employee conflicts when needed Ensure proper and adequate staffing at the Dental Home including work with CEO and HR to hire when needed including conduct in-person interviews Ensure that KinderSmile Oral Health Program (KSOHP) community visits are scheduled, staffed, conducted, and that KSOHP data is properly recorded Dental Care:
Provide quality full spectrum comprehensive dentistry Provide direction and supervision of dental services Guide dental providers to complete quadrant dentistry Support and mentor dentists, hygienists, assistants, and other team members Order clinical supplies monthly Scheduling:
Maintain and update work schedules Adjust team roles and responsibilities during position vacancies and staff vacations, ensuring continuity of services Front Desk:
Review daily log sheets Help resolve patient account discrepancies if needed Verify that copays, deductibles, Dental Savings Plan fees are collected at time of service Prepare new forms and update previous ones as protocols or policies change Review and ensure complete and balanced patient schedules:
continuity of care, BMs, recalls, etc.
Ensure that front desk staff (FDPCs) submit monthly report to the Board, summarizing patients seen, successes, and challenges Volunteers:
Mentor CSLP student volunteers Interview and conduct tours to perspective CSLP and dental provider (GBAS) volunteers Maintain a CSLP schedule, reviewing and expecting frequent changes Write and submit CSLP recommendations when requested Administrative:
Support CEO, COO and KinderSmile Foundation in other requested capacities, or as matters arise Hold monthly meetings with COO to review progress of Dental Home Conduct annual employee reviews Retrieve, compile and track data Assign & Monitor CSLP student volunteers or staff with collecting and tracking data Full benefits package including NJ State Loan Redemption program (up to $30,000 per year) for 4 years.
