Barista Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service - Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines - Prepare and present beverages according to established recipes and quality standards - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and beverages - Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries - Utilize the Aloha POS system for order processing Skills:
- Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso beverages - Experience in the food industry, preferably in a cafe or coffee shop setting - Understanding of food safety practices and guidelines - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Proficiency in operating a cash register and performing retail math calculations - Ability to handle food preparation tasks, such as slicing bread or baking pastries - Familiarity with the Aloha POS system is a plus - Good communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns or equipment issues Join our team as a Barista and be part of creating memorable experiences for our customers.
