BS in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years experience in highway electrical design and traffic engineering to help grow highway lighting capabilities. Qualified candidates should have a familiarity with MUTCD and AASHTO; HCM and HCS; Synchro/Sim Traffic Software; Traffic Signal design; Roadway Lighting design; NJDOT, NJTA and/or PANYNJ design standards and practices; NEC Code, IESNA design standards and practices, and ITS design, as well as proficiency in the use of such lighting software as VISUAL, AGI32, and the like. Exposure to project management and budgeting, preparing technical and cost proposals, and understanding of QA/QC procedures is desirable. Applicants must possess their NJ PE and have experience working on projects in New Jersey. PTOE certification is desirable. Good oral and written skills are a necessity.

Experience:
BS in Electrical Engineering and 10
years experience in highway electrical engineering. Must demonstrate having been the lead electrical designer in NJDOT, NJTA and/or PANYNJ highway projects, and have affixed their PE licensed signature to contract plans. Ideal candidate would have experience preparing proposals and budgets for the electrical design and construction administration services components of various highway and traffic control project sizes, as well as supervising junior engineers in completing highway lighting report preparation, lighting analysis and lighting design. A valid New Jersey PE license is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
